Reardon Funeral Home
511 N A St, Oxnard, CA 93030

While working at the Sears Catalog department at the Esplanade in Oxnard in the 1980’s a lady came in to pick up a package. I helped carry it down to the car for her. She offered a tip and I declined. She offered again and I said no, it was not allowed. She offered again saying nobody would know. Again, I had to say said NO. Then she left. I later learned she was from one of the old large farmland owning families of the county.

In May of 2019 I noticed Obituary for the lady, so on Sunday May 19, 2019, although not related or close, I went to the Reardon Funeral Home, in Oxnard, to say good bye.

Four days later, on Thursday May 23, 2019 in Malibu, at PCH and Web Way, where I had stopped for a red light, I was rear ended by a David Gerard West. He continued to follow behind me for miles down PCH.   Mr. West’s address at the time turned out to be 525 N. A Street, Oxnard, CA, right next door to the Reardon Funeral Home. Further investigation revealed that the apartment complex was owned by the same owners as the funeral home, Reardon, another old large farmland owner of the county, of 19828 E. Telegrapd Rd.   Santa Paula, CA    93060

Mr. West's insurer was Farmers Insurance.  Before and during litigation three different attorneys with three different law firms, working for Farmers Insurance, demonstrated disregard for the privacy rights of my medical information. The Ventura County Health Care Agency repeatedly disregarded the privacy laws and my expressed objections to disclosing my information in deference to Farmers Insurance and their attorneys.
